Submit Public Comments to Save the Clean Power Plan

Pruitt’s EPA is moving to repeal the Clean Power Plan! Help us stop him!

GOAL: Defend CPP from polluters and climate deniers!

The EPA is now taking public comments on its intent to repeal the Obama-era Clean Power Plan, as of Monday, Dec. 18. The CPP was part of the backbone of our commitment to the #ParisAccord, calling for a 32 percent reduction in emissions from the energy sector by 2030. We have a limited window to speak up and throw massive public support behind keeping the Clean Power Plan. Add your comments to protect the #CPP!

ACTION 1: Email  a-and-r-Docket@epa.gov.  Include Docket ID No. EPA-HQ-OAR-2017-0355 in the subject line of the message.

ACTION 3: Comment online! https://www.regulations.gov/docket?D=EPA-HQ-OAR-2017-0355

Sample script: “I oppose repeal of the Clean Power Plan. We must keep Paris Accord commitments and reduce emissions to protect humanity from the dangers of human-caused climate change. Power plants are the largest cause of carbon pollution. Solar and wind are the fastest growing employers and supply thousands of jobs while protecting public health and handling an increasing share of our energy needs. Keep our CPP!”
