Join us on Sept 28 in Belmar for an evening of honest, open discussion as we explore how the opioid crisis is impacting our community and how we can best protect our children.
The opioid crisis is impacting families across New Jersey’s 4th Congressional District and parents are looking for help and answers as high school and college-aged kids head back to school. The event is hosted by congressional candidate Jim Keady. Moira Nelson will be moderating the panel discussion which includes panelists:
- Senator Raymond J. Lesniak, NJ State Senator, champion and advocate for those suffering from substance use disorders
- Morgan Thompson, Director of Academic and Recovery Support at the Raymond J. Lesniak Recovery High School
- Joel Pomales, Advocacy Field Organizer for the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence – New Jersey (NCADD-NJ)
- Denise Mariano, Peer Parent Coach and Ambassador for Partnership for Drug-Free Kids
