Donate Days: Dan Ward for Barnegat Township Committee!

Want to flip Tom MacArthur in 2018? Then help win local races this year! Who said “regular people” (code for working class) never run and there’s too much money$ in politics? Then support this teacher! We are happy to support Dan Ward, who has earnestly and consistently been out in his community making a difference starting in the classroom. Please donate a cup of coffee* and give Dan a boost!

Dan Ward is running for Township Committee in Barnegat, where he has lived for 14 years. Being in Barnegat and attending Southern Regional gave him access to the resources he needed to earn scholarships and become a first-generation college student at Stevens Institute of Technology, and the first in his family to obtain an advanced degree. He has now graduated and has been working in the community that gave him his start, teaching chemistry at Ocean County College where he also tutors students from disadvantaged backgrounds.

He is running because he wants to continue his service to the community by working with the citizens of Barnegat – where he got his start. Unfortunately, over the last 5 years of uncontested Republican control, he has watched our community lose those opportunities under misguided leadership. When elected he will seek to ensure our taxes are going towards services and community betterment, curtail over-development, and break up the one-party rule in our committee.

We have been canvassing the neighborhood to meet voters and hear their issues. We would like to print more flyers ($400), stickers for upcoming town events ($200) and eventually a mailing ($2k+). You can contribute to Dan’s campaign here:

We really need volunteers!
