Ban Fracking Waste in New Jersey

Ban fracking waste in NJ before DuPont/Chemours makes more Superfund sites!

ACTION: Call Assemblywoman Pinkin and ask her to bring A1329 up for a vote! Call 1-855-980-2268, which will connect you to her office after a quick pre-recorded reminder of key things to say courtesy of Food & Water Watch in NJ. (Alternatively, her direct line is (732) 548-1406.)

SCRIPT: Hello, my name is [___] and I live in [town]. I am calling in support of Assembly bill A1329, the bill to ban the dumping of fracking waste in New Jersey. I would like Assemblywoman Pinkin as committee chair to bring A1329 up for a vote in the Assembly Environmental Committee. Thank you.

REASON: There are competing bills in the New Jersey Assembly regarding the dumping of fracking waste. The set of bills permitting fracking waste dumping (S879/A3116) passed through the NJ Senate last week and must be stopped in the Assembly! For more on this, click here: https://atnj.org/dont-relax-rules-for-toxic-waste-dumping/. We need the fracking waste dumping ban, not waste dumping permission!

Let’s defend our water, our environment and our health! The Assembly must pass A1329, not A3116!
