ATNJ’s Response to Sussex County Vandalism

Sept. 23, 2018

After several years of experiencing racism directly and indirectly, and fighting for civil rights for all Americans, I’m still horrified at the racist and anti-Semitic actions and words from our fellow Americans. The leadership and members of Action Together New Jersey condemn the actions of the cowards who used the Anti-Semitic symbols of hate to try to intimidate a volunteer and supporter of U.S. Rep. Josh Gottheimer in Hampton, Sussex County. Unfortunately, incidents like this one are on the rise and are not new. We will not allow voices of hate and division be the loudest voices heard in our state. Let us show this family and U.S. Rep. Josh Gottheimer that we stand with them and that hate is not tolerated here in New Jersey. Be an ally against injustice by speaking up and standing up when you encounter racism, bigotry, and anti-Semitism.  STAND UP! SPEAK UP! VOTE NOVEMBER 6TH!!
