Action Together New Jersey
The Atlantic County Chapter of Action Together NJ has joined forces with New Jersey Organizing Project and Indivisible to hold a weekly vigil outside the offices of Congressman Frank LoBiondo in Mays Landing. The vigil is held each Wednesday evening from 4:30-6:00 p.m. at 5914 Main Street, Mays Landing, NJ. The vigil focuses on opposition to current attempts to repeal the Affordable Care Act.
On Wednesday, July 5, 2017, the vigil coincides with the Country Before Party event, also taking place outside of Congressman LoBiondo’s office.
Join Atlantic County Chapter Co-Chair Alison Arne, New Jersey Organizing Project, Indivisible, and other ATNJ members on July 5, and each Wednesday, and raise your voice in support of healthcare for ALL.
ABOUT ACTION TOGETHER NEW JERSEY:
Who We Are
We are the largest grassroots group in NJ and we are growing every day as NJ citizens join to fight for our values. We share a passion for equal rights, for progressive ideals, and for building a brighter future for all Americans. We are your neighbors, your friends, and your coworkers. And while we don’t always see eye to eye on every issue (just look at the pork roll/Taylor ham divide), we are residents banded together to help secure a more inclusive and progressive future for our state and our country. We invite you to join us and to be at the forefront of that change. ATNJ is part of the grassroots national network, Action Together Network (ATN), which numbers around 750,000 grassroots members nationwide.
A few of the causes we value and fight for include:
Racial Justice, Reproductive Rights, Environmental Concerns, Women’s Rights, LGBTQ+ Rights, Common Sense Gun Laws, Immigration, Education, Healthcare, Social Services, Criminal Justice Reform, Electoral Reform, Finance and Economic Reform, Smart Foreign Policy, Workers’ Rights, Civil Rights Protection and Expansion, and Military and Veterans Issues.
